Government Adjunct Professor

Concordia University Texas is currently searching for an Adjunct (part-time) Professor to teach POLS 1303- American Government and Citizenship in person at our main campus in Austin for our Fall, 2025 semester.

Minimum Educational and Professional Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher Politics, Law, or a related field required
  • Practical experience in the subject matter preferred
  • Prior university level teaching preferred
  • Love and passion for teaching and engaging diverse student populations required

About the Course:

American Government & Citizenship is the foundational course in Government at CTX. Utilizing the Constitution as the primary framework for the class, the class explores one’s role as a citizen of the United States and the frameworks necessary to have a properly functioning and restrained republic. The course emphasizes the long-term retention of fundamental concepts and critical thought.
