University Closed on January 21 Due to Weather Conditions
The Main Campus in Austin, the Austin Nursing Site, and all university activities in Central Texas will be closed on Tuesday, January 21 due to inclement weather. Updates will be provided via email, the CTX SAFE app, and the University website.

Lauren graduated from The University of Nebraska with a Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and The University of Nebraska Medical Center with a certification in Medical Family Therapy. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University in Political Science and History. Lauren’s experience includes working at a Federally Qualified Health Clinic where she provided culturally compassionate and affirming care to a wide range of clients utilizing both brief and long-term therapy. Lauren also worked at a grief center where she facilitated group support for grieving children, teens, young adults, and caregivers. Lauren believes her role as a therapist is to support and empower clients while providing a safe space for them to share, process, and grow. Lauren has helped clients address trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, stress management, challenges related to chronic illness, relationship issues, family issues, substance use, and is an LGBTQIA+ trained provider. 

Lauren Patton is Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a certified Medical Family Therapist.
