You don't want to miss Walk & Woosh, one of the featured events of the Homecoming and Family Weekend at Concordia University Texas. Because of COVID-19, the events will be Hybrid-Flexible (HyFlex), combining in-person options with virtual components, which means you can participate in the walk on campus or virtually.

Walk & Woosh

Concordia's Walk & Woosh will take place on Saturday, October 24, at 8 a.m. You can join us on the beautiful campus for the 2.6-mile walk, or you can complete the walk in your own neighborhood and send us a picture of you doing your best Walk & Woosh!

To participate in Walk & Woosh, register for the event.

Registration fees provide you with a spot for Walk & Woosh (in person or virtually) and an event t-shirt.

Supporting Two Great Causes

The funds raised by this event will support two causes: the CTX Emergency Fund and Concordia's Service-Learning partnership with Water to Thrive.

The CTX Emergency Fund provides financial support to our students in need due to COVID-19. The Service-Learning program at Concordia has a partnership with Water to Thrive, a nonprofit that constructs wells to provide communities with clean, safe water, and the money raised will support efforts to build our fourteenth well.

Multiplying the Impact

President and Mrs. Donald Christian have committed to match up to $650 of funds raised for Walk & Woosh, which will go directly to Service-Learning to support Water to Thrive. If you're not interested in Walk & Woosh but want to support the cause, you can make a direct donation.

To make a donation online, select the "Other" option for gift designation and enter "Walk and Woosh."

The Christians will match any direct donations and 50% of Walk & Woosh registration fees. Whether you participate in the walk or make a donation, the impact of your generosity will be multiplied. Thank you for your support!
