Traditional on-campus students at Concordia University Texas have the opportunity to participate in the Pre-Law Program. Students receive individualized support to help them prepare for law school and the legal profession.
Pre-Law Program at Concordia
You will receive personalized advising throughout all four years of your undergraduate degree. In addition to helping you find a law school that meets your needs and abilities, CTX will help you prepare for law school in a variety of ways, some of which include the following:

Legal Studies Minor
The Legal Studies minor at Concordia University Texas is an optional component of the Pre-Law Program.
Consisting of 19 credit hours, you will develop a foundational knowledge upon which you will build in law school.
You must take the following courses:
- Introduction to Law
- Constitutional Law
- Criminal Law
- Persuasive Communication
You must choose one from the following:
- Political Science Mock Practicum: Moot Court
- Political Science Internship (1-6 hours)
You must choose one from the following:
- Business & Technical Writing
- Advanced Writing
- Writing for Publication
You must choose one from the following:
- Business Law
- Environmental Law
- Media Law and Ethics
