Executive Intelligent Coaching

Concordia's College of Business recently partnered with Nancy Schill and Executive Intelligent Coaching in a program that links graduating students with an executive coach. Ms. Schill, Director and CEO of Executive Intelligent Coaching, took on a graduating senior for a six-month coaching project, preparing the student for her first position and for success in her career. Normally reserved for those who have been in a career for a number of years, this type of coaching uses the idea of emotional intelligence to understand one's style and how best to use it in the workplace.

Beginning in January, Ms. Schill and this student met weekly, discussing strengths and weaknesses, and how to use that information for success. According to the student, this has been "a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow." Ms. Schill has been more than happy with the experiment and hopes to offer it to other Concordia students in the years ahead. "Working with young adults is a real joy - what they might lack in experience they make up for in hunger to learn. I absolutely loved working with this student."

Students who might be interested in working with Ms. Schill and Executive Intelligent Coaching can either work through Dr. Donald Christian, Dean of the College of Business or contact Ms. Schill directly through the company's website. There is a coaching fee involved with this program.
