Our Mission

The mission of the School of Nursing is to develop each nursing student‘s ability to serve as a Christian leader in professional and/or advanced nursing practice, promoting high-quality, safe patient/client care within diverse healthcare settings.

Nursing School Approval

Our School of Nursing meets the approval of the Texas Board of Nursing (BON), a state entity that provides approval for more than 200 nursing education programs. Established in 1909, the mission of the Texas BON is to protect the public from unsafe nursing practices.

Nursing Program Accreditation

Concordia University Texas baccalaureate degree in nursing and master’s degree is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036, 202-887-6791.
